Some of my favourite Roma memories are of the Bruton family .. Viv, you were my Yr 8 Geography teacher and inspired a lifelong love of learning that led me to teaching … “Mr Bruton” was a true inspiration to everyone who grew up in Roma … stil remember coming back and working at the Western Star … going to the football clinics he would be instrumental in organising to do a story and he would say “Call me Ray” .. that took a lot of getting used to. To the Bruton family … Mr Bruton was one of life’s “good guys” .. he has left an indelible legacy and has shaped so many Romaites in so many ways .. what a blessing he was and always will be. Vale Mr Bruton
