My sincere condolences to Greg and his family on the death of your grand and mischievous patriarch, Dexter Kruger. I had the privilege of meeting and staying with him in 1998 when he was living at Howard Street in Roma. In your sorrow, please also remember your brother, Ian, who, like you, was also my third cousin once removed.

Rest in Peace Dexter.
To Greg and family our sincere condolences. My father and mother-in-law, Merv and Betty Birch were saddened to hear of Dexter’s passing. They are away at present and wanted you to know they were sorry not to be able to attend the celebration of Dexter’s life with you in Roma. They were very pleased to be able to ‘tune in’ and watch the service via the link. They recall many enjoyable times spent with Dexter and often say what a wonderful man he was. My husband Greg and I bought his Corndale block Gladys named “Crestview” from Dexter before he moved to Roma. We found him to be a knowledgeable, encouraging and helpful gentleman. A pleasure to know. We have enjoyed his “TV fame” of recent times. What a character, he will be sorely missed.
