    Dear Beth
You probably don’t remember me but I think I met you at a TAS function some years ago in Toowoomba. I watched Rob’s very dignified and sad service. I was at TAS with Rob in the 1960’s, in fact this year we had left the school 60 years ago. I remember Rob as a bloke you really looked up to as whatever he was involved in he excelled in. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
You may be interested to know that my father Alan Thomas was at TAS with Bob Lethbridge in the early 1920’s. In those days the school was unfenced and hence stray livestock would onto the campus only to have Bob throw a rope on them and practice his riding skills.
